DAY 1: Genting Highlands!1!1!1!1

we had a public holiday for a few days, so we went on vacation with Al and her family!!! we went to Genting Skyworlds!

we were there for a total of 3 days and 2 nights. In my blog, I’m going to write about my experience. (Note: I’m already back home from Genting, so what I’ve written here is based on my memory)

DAY 1:

It has gotten colder and frigid as we drove up the hill. The air was not crystal clear, but instead, a misty shade of white. The chilly air slapped on my face once I rolled down the windows. It’s so unlike the melting and hot weather back in my living area.

At last, our car skid to a stop at around 3 in the afternoon, which marked our arrival. The large, multicoloured building caught my eye. In the front, the worlds ‘GENTING SKYWORLDS’ was displayed proudly. The frosty air wrapped around the walls of the building, creating a cool atmosphere that washes away your worries.

After staying in the green hotel for a while (by green, I mean the place had grassy floors and lime green trees, but of course they’re fake), we went up to our hotel. There were black lined doodles present in the elevator, and in our rooms. Even the bathroom! There were hand drawn clothes hangers on the wall, inside a little wardrobe that was hand drawn too. It’s a unique kind of hotel.

We met Al and her family soon after. Her mom brought some drinks for us from a company called ‘Oat Story’. It’s basically oat milk with oats and konjac inside. After about an hour, there was a mall connecting to the carpark, so we went there. I remember Ay looking through the digital map to find an ice cream shop. And guess what? An old man scolded him for SNEEZING. That’s ridiculous.

We had our dinner at a Chinese place. The floor was so greasy and slippery, making me lose my balance multiple times. But the food was great. After eating, we witnessed a halloween themed parade, but only for a little while because they passed us.

I don’t really remember what else we did in the mall. But what I do remember is us in front of the multi coloured building I’ve mentioned earlier. It looked something straight out a disney movie.

We returned back to the room to rest. Our room and Al’s room was right beside each other, with a door connecting the two. With that door, we can easily slip into each other’s rooms. Before 11p.m, we played Roblox together. Then I fell into a restful slumber, excited for what’s to come the next day.
