Volume Calculator

his is the Volume calculator! Welcome! if you want to look at area calculator, click on it!

Let’s start! Hooray! 😀

First up is the volume for the cube.

    \[l \times\l \times\ l = l^3\]

And here is the example. Let’s say l is 3cm.

    \[3cm\times\ 3cm\times\ 3cm = 27cm^3\]

(NOTES: When we calculate the area for square, rectangle, circle and triangle, we write ^2 after writing cm. And as for calculating the volume, we use ^3.)

Next, let’s calculate the volume for the 3D rectangle (also known as cuboid).

    \[h \times\ l \times\ d = hld\]

Here is the example.

Let’s say h is 3cm, l is 4cm and d is 6cm.

    \[3cm\times\ 4cm\times\ 6cm = 72cm^3\]

Now for the cylinder. Measuring the cylinder’s volume is just like measuring the volume of your water bottle.

    \[$\pi$r^2 h\]

and if r is 2cm and h is 7cm, here is the math!

    \[3.14\times\ 2cm\times\ 2cm\times\ 7cm = 88cm^3\]

And that’s all for today! I hope you enjoyed this lesson.
